Rhonda Staley IIDA, a professional interior designer, began her career in Las Vegas while interning there through Iowa State University’s interior design program.
Specializing in large-scale residential design, her first completed project was for Elaine and Wayne Newton’s new Casa de Shenendoah Nevada home in the 1970’s, followed by other Las Vegas area homes in Anthem Country Club, Red Rock Country Club, Laguna and Newport Beach, CA, and Honolulu.
With her family’s relocation to Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, her clientele increased while associated with Gabberts in Edina. Projects included a 10,000 sq.ft. second home in Scottsdale, AZ, for Minneapolis clients, and a home in the Country Club area of Edina, MN, which was a feature article published in the March 1992 Traditional Homes magazine.
Since returning to her home state and settling in Iowa City-Coralville in 2003, Rhonda has continued to work with Las Vegas clients on new residential projects, as well a growing list of clients in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Ft. Madison, IA, and Lake of the Ozarks, MO.
